If you’re installing new wallpaper, make application easier and amp up the tack with a quick dip in warm water. You can use your bathtub or any other basin that is wide enough for the sheet. After dampening the entire back surface of a section of wallpaper, touch the two edges of the glued side together for a moment, and then pull them apart. The newly tacky edges are now perfectly prepared for smooth application to the wall.
