    • Wall Bottle Opener
    • Wood Glue

    • Tack Cloth

When taking on this DIY task, be sure to equip yourself with the proper safety gear. Throughout the video, we’ll alert you regarding when you should and should not use the safety gear.

Make your cuts. Measure and mark your boards, making the following cuts with a miter saw.

Shape the handle. Mark the wood one and one fourth inches from the top and two and a half inches from each end of the seven and three quarter by three-inch piece of wood. Use a Forstner bit to drill a hole in each marked location. Draw a curve connecting each of the circles, and cut along the curve with a jigsaw.

Cut angles. Mark each nine-inch piece of wood five and a half inches from the bottom. Mark the center of the top using a one-and-a-half-inch strip to note the spacing of the middle handle. Connect the two points with a straight edge. Then, use a jigsaw to cut the angles in your wood.

Nail pieces together. Start by attaching angled sides to the base using wood glue at the joint. Then, nail together the frame of the caddie with a brad nailer. Align the seven and three fourths of an inch wood piece on top of the handle, making sure there’s wood glue on the joint to secure it before nailing together. Attach the handle to the sides with wood glue and nails. Fasten the eight and three quarter inch sides in the same manner.

Sand. Sand the entire caddie using 80 grit sandpaper to smooth joints and any imperfections. Continue sanding, progressing from 150 to 220 grit sandpaper. After sanding, wipe clean with a tack cloth or a rag.

Finishing. Generously apply Danish oil to all sides of the caddie with a rag. After oiling, use a drill to install a bottle opening on whatever side you’d like.

    Insert beer and enjoy.
