I have potted plants on a concrete floor in my lanai. The pots have left bad stains that I'd like to remove. They've been there for several years and I've tried some stain removers, but this actually made them worse. What do you recommend?

Tri-sodium phosphate, or TSP, is a good concrete and brick cleaner. You can find it at most home centers in the paint aisle. Mix TSP into a pasty consistency, wet the concrete, and let the TSP sit on top. Keep it damp and after awhile lift it away. One word of caution: Sometimes TSP works so well as a cleaner that it causes bleaching, and the once dirty spot is now lighter than the rest of of the concrete or brick!
