Cleaning a natural stone surface with the wrong product can remove its natural beauty. You can actually shorten the stone’s life or alter the natural stone’s color by using the wrong chemicals and tools.
Both water-based and solvent-based cleaners are available for cleaning the surface of natural stone. But, the hardness and absorbency of the natural stone will determine which type of cleaner should be used to clean natural stone. Choose your natural stone surface cleaner carefully, and be sure to test an inconspicuous area first before you roll up your sleeves to tackle the entire job of cleaning the surface of natural stone.
