Best Choice for Kitchen Flooring

i want to remodel my kitchen. my washing machine and dryer are also located in the kitchen. what flooring would i be better off installing? i was thinking of wood floor but i read your answer regarding laminate and water etc. so what do you recommend? thank you marietta
Marietta, I’d avoid solid hardwood but engineered hardwood or laminate are both good choices, along with the more traditional vinyl and ceramic. Engineered hardwood is made of layers and is more moisture tolerant than solid hardwood.
