Re-flooring Around Kitchen Appliances

If you're replacing your kitchen floor, don't let your refrigerator stand in the way of a successful job.  You can avoid a huge inconvenience down the road by moving appliances out of the way first.  Some flooring products, like ceramic tiles or hardwood, can raise the level of an existing floor-a problem if built-in appliances - like refrigerators or dishwashers -  have to be removed for repairs in the future.  Be sure to take this into consideration before installation, to avoid future flooring aggravation.
