    TOM: As winter wears on, even the coziest home can give you cabin fever but with a few easy changes, you can refresh and even expand your living space. Hi. I’m Tom Kraeutler.

    TOM: Taking stock of what you have, what you use, and what isn’t working will not only stave off cabin fever but create space in your home.

    LESLIE: Start by clearing away the clutter from everyday items to stuff tucked away in the very back of your closets. All this editing will reveal living and storage space you probably didn’t know you had.

    TOM: Rearrange favorite furnishings for a welcoming, clutter-free feel and add nesting tables and convertible seating in busy living areas.

    LESLIE: Finally, create multiple dwellings in one home. Convert an underused bonus space to a bedroom suite or put a daybed in the home office to accommodate your guests. I’m Leslie Segrete.
