Lawn Not Dead, Just Dormant

If the summer sun and a lack of rain have left your lawn looking more like a hayfield then a park, don't fret. A pretty, green lawn may be in your future. Lawns affected by summer droughts are smarter that you think. Even though your lawn looks dead -- it really is just dormant and will come back in full swing when it rains. But to prevent damage to dormant lawns, try to avoid walking on dried-out areas.
