Is your home heated by a heat pump.  If so, here’s a tip to help you save lots of money. With heat pumps, turning up the thermostat by hand is a bad idea because it may trigger the pump’s back-up electric heat - which is costly to run.  Instead, purchase a clock thermostat specially designed for heat pumps.  This inches the heat up slowly keeping you - and your wallet comfortable.
