Tidy Trash Cans

How many pounds of garbage do you think the average family of 3 generates each week?  The answer is about 40 pounds – and that’s a lot of trash to stink up your house.  To keep your garbage cans looking and smelling clean, rinse them weekly with a solution of borax and warm water.  To keep germs at bay, spray the inside of the can with a 10 percent bleach solution.
