Termites And Concrete Slab Homes

Homes with concrete slab foundation can be at highest risk of a termite infestation.  To avoid damage, remember that termites are big fans of moisture but hate sunlight.  Unfortunately, this perfect environment exists under homes with concrete slab foundations.  To protect your house, improve grading and gutters to keep water away from the foundation perimeter and minimize dampness.  Lastly, consider installing a termite bait system to keep these wood destroyers at bay and your house well off the menu.
