Keep Your Compressor Clean

In order to run efficiently, the central air conditioning compressors need to be kept clean.  Inspect coils and wash them down with a hose to free up loose dirt.  Also be sure that all bushes are trimmed to allow at least twelve inches of space around the compressor.  Any closer and the unit can’t cool properly and will have to run longer to cool your house, lowering efficiency and increasing costs.
