Decorating -- Paint

Is there a room in your home that’s ready for a face-lift?  It’s easy enough to transform the look of a room inexpensively by adding a splash of color with a new coat of paint.  Many paints on the market today offer the ease of one-coat coverage at an economical price.  And making it even easier for the do-it-yourselfer, many manufacturers now package paint in plastic jugs, rather than cans, which are easier to use.  Some even offer easy-grip handles and convenient pour spouts.

Once that room is freshened up with a new coat of paint, add a few inexpensive accessories.  A couple of well-placed coordinating pillows, a new vase or candles are all good options.  Outlet and switch plates can enhance your new décor, too, as well as new controls.  Adding a dimmer can change not only the lighting of your room but also cut your energy costs.
