NewsTalk Radio 77 WABC Adds THE MONEY PIT

Most listened to News Talk radio station in the nation becomes 200th affiliate for THE MONEY PIT

New York, NY (January 11, 2007) – The most popular home improvement radio show is joining the line up on the nation’s most popular talk radio station, NewsTalk Radio 77 WABC in New York City beginning January 14.

THE MONEY PIT, starring hosts Tom Kraeutler and Leslie Segrete, will air Sundays from noon to 2pm.   The Money Pit is a nationally syndicated, call-in radio show that helps listeners with their home repair and improvement problems. The team has been named among “America’s 100 Most Important Radio Talk Show Hosts” by Talkers magazine.

“I’ve been a fan of The Money Pit for years and I’m delighted that I finally found an opportunity to work with Tom and Leslie,” says Phil Boyce, ABC Radio Network VP of News/Talk Programming and WABC Program Director, “Every homeowner can use a friendly coach before picking up a hammer.  The Money Pit is perfect for us because it is the only male/female home improvement radio show and it’s the most fun.”

Kraeutler, a former Home Inspector, founded THE MONEY PIT 11 years ago, is the Home Improvement Editor for AOL, as well as a regular how-to guru on cable and network television.  Segrete stars in the TLC hit series “Trading Spaces” and “While You Were Out,” and is a regular contributor to the “Today” show.
