Radon Miitigation

I tested 3 areas in our lower level home: one in an office -test result: 2.8 pCi/L; one in a back storage area: 10.7; one in our workroom area (also in the rear of the house) : 8.5.  My husband and I feel we have to do something about this, so can you recommend someone in the Asheville area, and would it be wise to get at least 3 different estimates for doing mitigation, as we have no expereince in dealing with this, and I would guess, just like everything else that needs repairs around a home, you don't always go with the first service person you talk to, right?  Is it usually an expensive process and would we expect to have a lot of repairwork to do "after" the mitigation process is done, like having concrete repaired? Can you explain, at all, what gets done during a mitigation service?
