Q:
Several years ago there was a "one step" paint available that allowed you to paint over almost any surface without prior priming, sanding, etc. There was probably a second cover coat also available. I looked up "One Stroke" and came up with several artists who were selling the "One Stroke Method" of painting. Don't think it's the same thing. Do you know if "One Stroke" as a product is still available?

There are actually several products on the market that offer painting and priming in "one step". One of them is Behr Premium Plus Ultra. However, I would not recommend that you skip the step of cleaning or preparing the surface. The paint-and-prime in one step products reduce the amount of coats you might need and save time that way. But not preparing the surface is a mistake that will cost you time and money in the long run. Hope that helps!
