Q:
My house is about 4 years old. The floor is 1 1/4" thick, tongue and groove, knotty, Ponderosa Pine from a nearby sawmill.
The wood was not completely dry when installed and consequently it has shrunk a bit and I now have 1/32" to 1/8" cracks between most of the boards. I'm not concerned about the appearance, but I am concerned about the dust and dirt that winds up in the cracks.
What should I use to fill the cracks?
Appreciate your help,
Bob Oslund
