Q:
I have an 800 sq cottage built in 1925. I have hvac installed into the home for the house's 1st time. The hvac person ssuggested I cut 2x3 ft holes at the bottom of each side the attic walls, at total of 4 holes. The house does not have soffits. A new roof with a ridge vent will soon be installed as well. Do you agree with the suggested solution? My city's code goes by international code guidelines.
