Jim Rooney has been in construction since 1969 and has worked full time as a home inspector, construction consultant and columnist since 1985. Mr. Rooney currently belongs to the American Society of Home Inspectors® (ASHI) - Baltimore Chapter (#4747) and its Mid-Atlantic Chapter. He is a Member of the National Institute of Building Sciences, Building Environment Thermal Envelope Council, and is a Licensed Maryland Home Improvement Contractor.
