We live in a heavily wooded area and when we moved in we noticed that the north side of the house had some holes from Wood Peckers. We filled those holes and painted. And for most of the summer we didn't notice any additional damage. Now we go ino fall and looked up the other night and there were sizable holes in the wood siding again. How do we get rid of the wood peckers or discourage them. The idea of hanging pie tins from the eves is not an ideal choice, not even sure if that would work. Thanks!
