Ryobi One+ 18-volt Hand Planer

Ryobi has added a useful woodworking tool to its popular 18-volt One+ System tool lineup – a hand planer.

The powerful One+ battery drives a motor capable of reaching speeds of 10,000 RPM. A handy depth adjustment knob allows planing at depths of 0 – 1/64”. 

The planer features dual carbide blades for smooth accurate planing and has a 2” planing width with rabbet depth of up to 1/2”. It also has an extended front shoe for balance and accuracy.

The Ryobi One+ System allows users to insert the same 18-volt battery into more than 25 different tools and lifestyle products. The battery works with all current, past and future Ryobi 18-volt tools. All tools can be purchased without batteries and chargers, keeping the price of individual components affordable. The goal of the One+ System is to allow consumers to customize their tool collections.

As with all Ryobi One+ System tools, the hand planer comes with a 2-year warranty and is available exclusively at The Home Depot and retails for under $60, battery and charger are sold separately.
