Use Premium Underlayment for Perfect Protection

Grace has a brand new addition to its family of weatherproofing materials: Grace Tri-Flex® Xtreme synthetic roofing underlayment. Breakthrough Traction XT Skid Resistant Technology sets the standard for synthetic underlayments. Proprietary coating helps boots grip the surface when wet or dry. This product has many advantages over 30-pound felt and traditional synthetic roofing underlayments. By utilizing Grace’s Traction XT Skid Resistant Technology, the surface of Tri-Flex Xtreme provides maximum slip resistance. Tests have shown, when compared to competitive brands, Tri-Flex Xtreme provides superior traction – dry or wet. When “drying in” a roof, professionals can rely on Tri-Flex Xtreme. It can be left exposed to the elements for up to six months without rotting, cracking or drying out. The tight weave of Tri-Flex Xtreme gives it intense tensile strength. This means that it won’t tear from nails or other fasteners, even when subjected to high winds and rains. Tri-Flex Xtreme is not only lighter than 30-pound felt, each roll covers more area. This translates to fewer trips made and less effort expended up and down the ladder during installation. Grace Tri-Flex Xtreme comes in rolls of 41.5 inches by 289 feet and covers 10 full squares. It is applied to the roof deck with cap staples or cap nails and is suitable to be installed underneath all mechanically attached sloped roof coverings, including shingles, tiles, slate, metal and cedar shakes.
