The innovative matchbox improves match safety by requiring the user to press a tray release button to reveal the matches. Once pressed, the match drawer opens half way to reveal quality wooden matches.  This feature ensures that the matches are securely stored away from children and animals in a safer fashion than with traditional matchboxes.

Extinguished matches can be placed inside the Dispos-A-Match™ Chamber, guaranteeing safer disposal.  This may eliminate the dangers of a discarded match causing a fire because it is not completely extinguished.

The MatchGuard is made of durable plastic to keep the wooden matches intact and dry until ready for use. Ideally sized to be easily stored in a backpack, the durable box is the perfect choice for campers, hunters and outdoor enthusiasts as the matches will not spill out, become wet from rain or damaged.

Each box contains 125 wooden matches. MatchGuard has a suggested retail price of $2.49 and is available at Wal-Mart and other leading retailers.
