Already touted as a summer party essential by the hosts of The Talk and named one of Men’s Journal’s tailgating essentials, Pizzacraft’s Pizzeria Pronto Outdoor Pizza Oven earned top marks from retailers too in our poll. The portable oven hooks up to a propane tank to cook up delicious homemade pizza wherever people may be grilling. After preheating in a quick 10 minutes, the oven can cook a pizza in just 5, thanks to its high temperature range of up to 700 degrees.

A 2014 American Society of Landscape Architects survey highlighted consumers’ ongoing interest in outdoor kitchens, where built-in units such as Coyote Outdoor Living’s CSL 36-inch S-Series Grill are a popular choice. This model features three iBurners, as well as one infrared rear burner and RapidSear infrared burner. It also includes a rotisserie kit and smoker box. These add-ons will be a trend to watch in the year ahead, according to Jim Ginocchi, president and CEO of Coyote Outdoor Living.
“By accessorizing your outdoor kitchen with things like a power burner or a drop-in griddle, you can do many more things on your grill than just cook meat,” he told Casual Living magazine.
For those who like to grill on the go, Big Green Egg’s MiniMax Egg is a great choice. It’s compact, at only 13 inches wide and 19.5 inches tall, and includes a carrying handle for easy transport to campsites, pools or parking lots. In fact, the MiniMax is so easy to move that the company even successfully tested same-day delivery by commercial drone last year.
It can handle up to four burgers, two steaks, one rack of ribs, a chicken or a 12-pound turkey. “Eggcessories,” including vertical chicken roasters and a pizza stone, are also available.
