Hot Water Heater Leak Could Mean Trouble

One sign of trouble is a leak, and if it's major, you need to do the following:

  1. Turn off the fuel supply.
  2. Shut off cold the water supply to the water heater.
  3. Open all hot water faucets in your home.
  4. Attach a hose to the drain valve at the bottom of water heater and drain unit of all water.
  5. Call your plumber and visit for more info.
